Ingredients
  

Brisket
  • 3 pounds beef brisket trimmed
  • 1 tablespoon salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for searing

Method
 

Prepare the Brisket
  1. Season the brisket generously with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder on all sides.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the brisket for about 4-5 minutes on each side until browned.
Slow Cook
  1. Transfer the seared brisket to a slow cooker.
  2. Add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce to the slow cooker.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the brisket is tender and easily pulls apart with a fork.
Serve
  1. Remove the brisket from the slow cooker and let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing against the grain.
  2. Serve with your favorite sides and enjoy!
