  • 8 cups water
  • 3 tablespoons Cajun seasoning adjust to taste
  • 1 tablespoon salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for drizzling

Method
 

Cooking the Onions
  1. In a large pot, bring the water to a boil.
  2. Add the Cajun seasoning and salt to the boiling water.
  3. Carefully add the quartered onions to the pot.
  4. Reduce heat and let simmer for about 30 minutes, or until the onions are tender.
  5. Once cooked, drain the onions using a colander.
  6. Drizzle with olive oil before serving.
