Cooking the Onions
- In a large pot, bring the water to a boil.
- Add the Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper to the boiling water.
- Carefully add the quartered onions to the pot.
- Reduce heat to medium and let the onions boil for about 30 minutes or until tender.
- Once cooked, drain the onions using a colander.
- Serve hot, garnished with additional Cajun seasoning if desired.
