Ingredients
  

Onions
  • 3 medium Onions sliced
Cheese
  • 2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese divided
  • 1 cup Cream Cheese softened
Cream
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
Seasonings
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Thyme
Topping
  • 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs for topping
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese grated

Method
 

Prepare Onions
  1. In a skillet, melt some butter over medium heat. Add sliced onions and cook until caramelized, about 10-15 minutes.
Mix Ingredients
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine caramelized onions, cream cheese, heavy cream, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and thyme. Mix until smooth.
Add Cheese
  1. Stir in 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese into the mixture.
Bake
  1. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish. Top with remaining cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, and Parmesan cheese.
  2. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
Serve
  1. Let cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your cheesy onion bake!
