Method
Prepare the Chicken
- Heat a wok over medium-high heat and add a splash of oil. Add the sliced chicken and stir-fry until cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
Add Vegetables
- Add the garlic, ginger, cabbage, carrots, and bell pepper to the wok. Stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
Make the Sauce
- In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch mixture. Pour the sauce over the chicken and vegetables in the wok.
Finish Cooking
- Stir well to combine and cook for an additional 2 minutes until the sauce thickens. Remove from heat.
Serve
- Garnish with chopped green onions and toasted sesame seeds before serving.
