Ingredients
  

Sandwich Ingredients
  • 8 slices Rye bread or your choice of bread
  • 1 pound Corned beef thinly sliced
  • 8 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 cup Sauerkraut drained
  • 2 tablespoons Mustard yellow or Dijon
  • 2 tablespoons Butter for grilling

Method
 

Assemble Sandwiches
  1. Spread mustard on one side of each slice of rye bread.
  2. Layer corned beef, sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese on half of the slices.
  3. Top with remaining slices of bread, mustard side down.
Grill Sandwiches
  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt 1 tablespoon of butter.
  2. Place two sandwiches in the skillet and grill until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  3. Repeat with remaining sandwiches, adding more butter as needed.
Serve
  1. Cut sandwiches in half and serve warm.
