Prepare the Sauce
- In a mixing bowl, combine barbecue sauce, bourbon, honey, smoked paprika, and garlic powder. Mix well and set aside.
Make the Patties
- In a large bowl, mix ground beef, salt, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce until just combined. Form into small patties, about 2 inches in diameter.
Cook the Sliders
- Preheat the grill over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they reach desired doneness.
- During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.
Assemble the Sliders
- Toast the slider buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes. Spread a generous amount of bourbon barbecue sauce on the bottom bun, add the patty, and top with lettuce, tomato, and pickles. Place the top bun and serve.
