Ingredients
  

Chicken Bites
  • 1 pound boneless chicken breast cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup buttermilk for marinating
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour for coating
  • 1 teaspoon paprika for seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder for seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder for seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper to taste
  • 2 cups vegetable oil for frying

Method
 

Prepare Chicken
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the chicken pieces with buttermilk. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Prepare Coating
  1. In another bowl, mix together flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
Heat Oil
  1. In a deep fryer, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).
Coat Chicken
  1. Remove chicken from buttermilk and let excess drip off. Dredge each piece in the flour mixture, ensuring an even coating.
Fry Chicken
  1. Carefully place coated chicken bites in hot oil. Fry in batches for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
Drain and Serve
  1. Remove chicken bites with tongs and place on paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
