Ingredients
  

For the Sliders
  • 12 count slider buns
  • 2 cups cooked turkey, shredded
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
For the Mornay Sauce
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk preferably whole milk
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

Method
 

Prepare the Mornay Sauce
  1. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes until lightly golden.
  2. Gradually whisk in the milk, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and nutmeg until smooth.
Assemble the Sliders
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the slider buns in half and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
  3. Layer the shredded turkey, crumbled bacon, and both cheeses on the buns.
  4. Pour the Mornay sauce evenly over the assembled sliders.
  5. Top with the other halves of the buns and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and bubbly.
