- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and brown sugar to prepare the marinade.
- Place your chicken in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over it. Let it sit in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes—ideally up to 4 hours.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high, around 400°F.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade, letting excess drip off. Grill each piece for about 6-8 minutes per side until cooked through.
- After grilling, let the chicken rest for about 5 minutes before slicing.
