Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Mixing
- In another bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the buttermilk, lemon zest, orange zest, lemon juice, and orange juice until combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Baking
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the loaf cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
