  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper optional for heat
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro chopped

Method
 

Prepare the Marinade
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lime juice, minced garlic, cumin, chili powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper until well combined.
  2. Stir in the chopped cilantro.
Marinate the Chicken
  1. Place the chicken in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish.
  2. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring it is well coated.
  3. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for more flavor.
