Ingredients
  

Bagel Dough
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt Plain, non-fat or low-fat
  • 1 cup self-rising flour Can substitute with all-purpose flour and baking powder
  • 1 large egg Beaten, for egg wash
  • 1 tbsp honey Optional, for sweetness
  • 1 tsp salt

Method
 

Prepare the Dough
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt and self-rising flour until a dough forms.
  2. Knead the dough on a floured surface for a few minutes until smooth.
Shape the Bagels
  1. Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces.
  2. Roll each piece into a ball, then poke a hole in the center to form a bagel shape.
Bake the Bagels
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place the bagels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Brush the tops with beaten egg and sprinkle with salt if desired.
  4. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
