Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon optional
Wet Ingredients
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter make sure it's xylitol-free
  • 1/2 cup water adjust for desired consistency

Method
 

Prepare the Batter
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, baking powder, and cinnamon.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together the beaten egg, applesauce, peanut butter, and water until smooth.
  3. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
Cook the Pancakes
  1. Preheat a griddle or frying pan over medium heat and lightly grease it if necessary.
  2. Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the griddle for each pancake.
  3. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown on the other side.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool before serving to your pup.
