Dressing Base
  • 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon honey optional for sweetness
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, combine red wine vinegar, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, honey, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Whisk the ingredients together until well combined.
  3. Slowly drizzle in the olive oil while whisking continuously until the dressing is emulsified.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  5. Transfer the dressing to a jar with a lid and store in the refrigerator until ready to use.
