Ingredients
  

Burger Patties
  • 1 lb fresh salmon fillet skin removed
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs preferably panko
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill chopped
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
Toppings
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese optional
  • 4 buns burger buns toasted
  • 1 cup lettuce shredded
  • 1 tomato sliced
  • 1/2 cup tartar sauce for serving

Method
 

Prepare the Salmon Patties
  1. In a food processor, pulse the salmon until finely chopped but not pureed.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped salmon, breadcrumbs, egg, dill, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into 4 equal patties.
Cook the Patties
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Grill the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and internal temperature reaches 145°F.
Assemble the Burgers
  1. Place each salmon patty on a toasted bun and top with cheese, lettuce, tomato, and tartar sauce.
  2. Serve immediately and enjoy!
