Eggs
  • 8 large eggs fresh
Dairy
  • 1/4 cup milk optional for creaminess
  • 2 tablespoons butter for cooking
Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, crack the eggs and whisk them until the yolks and whites are fully combined.
  2. Add milk, salt, and pepper to the eggs and whisk until well mixed.
Cooking
  1. Heat the non-stick skillet over medium-low heat and add the butter.
  2. Once the butter is melted and bubbling, pour in the egg mixture.
  3. Let the eggs sit for a few moments until they start to set around the edges.
  4. Gently stir with a spatula, pushing the eggs from the edges toward the center.
  5. Continue to cook, stirring occasionally, until the eggs are softly set but still slightly runny.
  6. Remove from heat and let the residual heat finish cooking the eggs.
