Ingredients
  

Shrimp
  • 1 pound large shrimp peeled and deveined
Cocktail Sauce
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons horseradish prepared
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • to taste salt
Garnish
  • 1 lemon lemon wedges for serving
  • to taste fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Method
 

Prepare the Shrimp
  1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.
  2. Remove the shrimp from the pot and transfer to a colander. Rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process.
  3. Chill the shrimp in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
Make the Cocktail Sauce
  1. In a small bowl, combine ketchup, horseradish, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and salt. Mix well.
Serve
  1. Arrange the chilled shrimp on a serving platter. Serve with cocktail sauce and garnish with lemon wedges and parsley.

Notes
