Ingredients
  

Base
  • 8 slices Baguette sliced into rounds
Topping
  • 8 oz Smoked salmon thinly sliced
  • 4 oz Cream cheese softened
  • 2 tbsp Capers drained
  • 2 tbsp Fresh dill chopped
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 pinch Black pepper to taste

Method
 

Prepare the base
  1. Toast the baguette slices until golden brown.
Prepare the topping
  1. In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese with lemon juice, dill, and black pepper.
  2. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly on each toasted baguette slice.
  3. Top each slice with a piece of smoked salmon and a few capers.
Serve
  1. Arrange the canapes on a serving platter and garnish with additional dill if desired.
