Ingredients
  

Steak and Salad Base
  • 1 lb Flank Steak or sirloin
  • 6 cups Mixed Greens such as arugula, spinach, and romaine
  • 1 cup Cherry Tomatoes halved
  • 1 cucumber Cucumber sliced
  • 1 avocado Avocado sliced
Dressing
  • 3 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Dijon Mustard
  • 1 clove Garlic minced
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black Pepper

Method
 

Prepare the Steak
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Season the flank steak with salt and black pepper.
  3. Grill the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
  4. Remove from grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Assemble the Salad
  1. In a large salad bowl, combine mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, and avocado.
  2. Slice the grilled steak against the grain and add it to the salad.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, balsamic vinegar, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  4. Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss gently to combine.
