Ingredients
  

Taco Filling
  • 1 lb Ground Beef or ground turkey
  • 1 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 cup Water
Taco Assembly
  • 8 count Corn Tortillas
  • 1 cup Shredded Lettuce
  • 1 cup Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese Cheddar or Mexican blend
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Cilantro for garnish

Method
 

Prepare the Taco Filling
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned.
  2. Drain excess fat and return to skillet.
  3. Add chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and water. Stir to combine.
  4. Simmer for 5-7 minutes until the mixture thickens.
Assemble the Tacos
  1. Warm the corn tortillas in a separate skillet or microwave.
  2. Fill each tortilla with the taco filling.
  3. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, cheese, sour cream, and cilantro.
  4. Serve immediately with lime wedges if desired.
