Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked beef, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Stir in the mixed vegetables and 1 cup of cheddar cheese.
- Spread the beef mixture evenly in a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Top with tater tots in a single layer.
- Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top of the tater tots.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
